By Air : The Airport for Panna National Park is the Jabalpur Airport at a distance of 165 km . Another airport for reaching kanha is the nagpur aiport situated at distance of 265 km. Ngapur airport has greater connectivity with leading cities of India.

By Rail : Nearest Railway Station for Panna National Park is the Satna railway station. Satna railway station is 90 km from Panna National Park. There are Daily Flights from Delhi by Indian Airlines & Jet Airways & Kingfisher.

By Road : While traveling from Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh to vice versa, we pass through forest of Panna National Park. Panna National Park is about 240 kms from Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and 40 km from the khajuraho village. Panna National Park is well connected with Satna, Jhansi, Khajuraho, Katni(130 kms) etc.

Best Time to Visit Panna National Park : The visiting season to Panna national park is the months of October to March. The park is closed from July to Mid-October months, that is during the monsoon season.

History of Panna National Park: Adorned with divine lustre Padmavatipuri Dham is in Panna town at the centre of Vindhyachal in Madhya Pradesh. Moving around in different places along with his disciples Mahamati Prannath reached Panna with a divine message of awakening from Shri Krishna Pranami religion. Seeing a desert island he decided to unfurl the flag of Jagani there.
He helped the brave king Chhatrasal and adorned him by the title of Maharaja. He remained there for eleven years, and took Samadhi inside the dome itself. King Chhatrasal was the greatest ruler in Bundelkhand region in which Panna also lies.

Chhatrasal was the king who has defeated Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and captured him. The place, therefore, is known as the seat of salvation [Muktipitha] or Padmavatipuri Dham

Panna National Park Tour Package -

Day 01 : Arrive at the Satnai Railway Station in the afternoon. Later drive toward Panna National Park. Panna is about 130 km from Satna City of Madhya Pradesh. Arrive and check in at the resort in Panna.

Overnight Stay at the Ken River Lodge Panna.

Day 02 : Early morning attend the jungle safari of Panna National Park. Later in the after noon drive towards Khajuraho village. Visit the khajuraho temples.
