01/July/2011 - Kanha - Bandhavgarh - Pench parks closed for safari till 15Oct.
All national park of Madhya Pradesh except Shivpuri National Park, will remain closed during monsoon season from 01/July/2011 to 15/Oct/2011. During this time no jungle safari is allowed in park. During this time visitors may visit Tadoba National Park (close to Nagpur) or Shivpuri National Park as they still remain open for visitors.

11/Oct/2010 - Safari Fee hike for Tala Zone Bandhavgarh
From 16/Dec/2010, government entrance fee for Tala zone safari will get doubled as Tala Zone is going to be declared as Special Safari Zone. Now visitors have to pay more in comparison to other safari zones of Bandhavgarh.

19/May/2010 - Tigress killed by Jeep hit in Bandhavgarh. Justice awaited...

On Wednesday, 19/May/2010, a tigress found dead close to water source by the tourists. First park officials blamed tourists for incident and later during investigation it was revealed that Tigress was hit by Forest Dept. Jeep. Tigress had 3 cubs of about 5 months old. Later one of her cub was killed by other tiger. Till now no justice was done. Local people knows but without evidence, nobody ready to speak out. JUSTICE STILL AWAITED...
